Susanna studied English Literature at the University of Exeter, before taking two years out to work with dressage horses. Having qualified as a high school English teacher, she has worked in an independent school in Suffolk, England for the last four years, teaching English to students from the age of 11 to 18.

Susanna is now a full time student, studying for a Master's degree in Journalism at the University of Lincoln. However, she is still very much involved in teaching, working as a GCSE examiner and as a private tutor of students up to degree level.

Susanna has a wide range of specialist interests, including dressage, horse care, cycling and triathlon, classical music, literature and teaching. In the next few years she aims to start writing children's fiction and looks forward to an action-packed writing career!
